Tumor metastasis is a leading cause of cancer deaths, with melanoma being particularly aggressive and often resistant to current treatments.
A study was conducted on female nude mice to assess the impact of a novel nutrient mixture (NM) on inhibiting melanoma growth and metastasis, comparing a control group with a test group supplemented with NM.
Results indicated that the NM group had significantly less tumor growth in the kidneys and reduced metastasis to the lungs compared to the control group, suggesting NM's potential as a therapeutic option for melanoma.
