Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) is an inflammatory disease which does not have specific diagnostic tests or pathological symptoms and is identified based on clinical characteristics. Among acute phase reactants (APR), the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-Reactive Protein (CRP) are laboratory findings used in diagnosis and follow-up. In this study, it was aimed to determine the incidence of normal ESH and CRP in patients diagnosed with PMR and identify the distinguishing characteristics of these patients.

The complete cessation of menstruation for 12 months with associated vasomotor symptoms is termed menopause. Apart from playing a role in reproduction, estrogen significantly affects the central nervous system (CNS). Population-based studies highlighted a substantial difference in the prevalence of dementia between men and women, with Alzheimer-associated dementia being more prevalent in women, indicating that estrogen deficiency might be a risk factor for neurodegenerative diseases.

Background/aim: This study aimed to investigate the effects of oxygen therapy using a high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) on patients diagnosed with COVID-19 Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (C-ARDS) by utilizing electrical impedance tomography (EIT)-based parameters.
Materials And Methods: Oxygen therapy was administered to the patients at two different flow rates and two different positions: T0-baseline measurements were taken in the supine position before any therapy was initiated. T1-HFNC was administered in the supine position with a flow rate of 30 L/min.

Purpose: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common clinical condition in which the upper airway partially or completely narrows or collapses during sleep. The objective of our research was to examine the relation between the abnormal internal carotid artery (ICA) and the pharyngeal wall among individuals suffering from OSA, and to compare it to a group of control subjects.
Methods: In this retrospective study, the closest distances of the ICA to the pharyngeal walls and midlines were measured on CT images and compared between groups.

Background: Microcystic, elongated, and fragmented (MELF) pattern is one of the myometrial invasion patterns in endometrioid endometrial carcinoma (EEC), and it has been associated with poor prognostic parameters, especially lymphovascular space invasion (LVSI) and lymph node metastasis (LNM). This study aims to represent the frequency of MELF pattern in EEC and the relationship between MELF pattern with clinicopathological parameters, overall survival (OS), and disease-free survival (DFS).
Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, we examined 233 patients with EEC diagnoses with the result of a total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy between 2009 and 2014.
