Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of an intravitreal dexamethasone (DEX) implant for the treatment of macular edema (ME) following pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) and removal of the primary epiretinal membrane (ERM) and to assess the impact of the integrity of the ellipsoid zone (EZ) and disorganization of the retinal inner layer (DRIL) grade on visual and anatomical outcomes.
Methods: Forty-two pseudophakic patients who developed ME following PPV and removal of the primary stage 2-3 ERM were included. Patients were divided into two groups when ME was diagnosed via spectral domain optic coherence tomography (SD-OCT).
In this study, the aim was to evaluate the preferences and experiences interventions among women in Turkey. A total of 347 women who gave birth vaginally participated in this analytical cross-sectional study. Data were collected using the face-to-face interview technique in the clinic rooms within the first 24 hours after delivery, when the women's babies were asleep, allowing the mothers to comfortably answer the questions before discharge.

Objective: In this study, it was aimed to show whether infection, which causes various cardiovascular complications in children, can lead to an increase in aortic stiffness with a noninvasive method, echocardiography.
Methods: Children who were diagnosed with infection and who had tachycardia, chest pain and murmur that were not related to body temperature increase during the treatment were evaluated cardiologically and had echocardiographic examination, were included in the study. Aortic strain, aortic distensibility measurement results and aortic stiffness index of the patients in the patient and control groups were calculated.

Background/aim: To evaluate whether there is a relationship between serum myosin-binding protein C (MyBP-C) levels measured in the first trimester and the timing of delivery, and, if a relationship is detected, the potential of this relationship in distinguishing between preterm and term labor.
Materials And Methods: This prospective case-control study was conducted with 701 pregnant women who applied to the Obstetrics Outpatient Clinic of Gaziosmanpaşa Training and Research Hospital in the first trimester, between 11 and 14 gestational weeks. MyBP-C serum samples from the first trimester were stored under appropriate conditions until the time of delivery.
