The following aspects were highlighted: effective removal of smear layer (SL) from the dentinal tubules in the coronal 1/3, middle 1/3, and apical 1/3 of the root canal, appearance of cracks in the dentinal walls by SEM analysis, and highlighting of dentin mineral content and remnant debris by EDX analysis.

Exploring the relationship between dissociative experiences and recovery in psychosis: cross-sectional study.

Aims And Method: This study explored the association among dissociative experiences, recovery from psychosis and a range of factors relevant to psychosis and analysed whether dissociative experiences (compartmentalisation, detachment and absorption) could be used to predict specific stages of recovery. A cross-sectional design was used, and 75 individuals with psychosis were recruited from the recovery services of the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The research was conducted nearly three years after the lockdown measures imposed by the spread of COVID-19, during a period when onsite academic activities had resumed, as they were prior to the pandemic.

A Spectral Method for Rapidly Determining the Linear Birefringence of Thin Polymer Films.

A rapid and simple spectral method for determining the linear birefringence of thin anisotropic films, using the channeled spectra, is proposed in this article. Two channeled spectra must be recorded for a transparent system containing a thick anisotropic layer and a thin stretched polymer film, when the two anisotropic uniaxial layers have parallel and perpendicular optical axes, respectively. The sum and difference of the two channeled spectra indicate (by the positions of the maxima and minima in the resulting channeled spectra) the phase difference introduced by the thin polymer film.
