Objective: To investigate short and long-term complications due to standard (≤24 hours) and extended (>24 hours) prone position in COVID-19 patients.
Methods: Retrospective cohort study conducted in an Italian general intensive care unit. We enrolled patients on invasive mechanical ventilation and treated with prone positioning.
Objectives: Nowadays, Robotic assistedkidney transplantation (RAKT) is considered a lessinvasive alternative to the Open Kidney Transplantation(OKT) with several advantages such as image magnification,3D vision and articulated instruments and with arelatively short learning curve for an experienced surgeon.RAKT has shown comparable outcomes with theOKT literature data in terms of surgical and functionalresults. RAKT may decrease the complication rate, meanhospital stay, postoperative pain, and also improve aestheticoutcomes.

Objective: Metyrapone has been approved for the treatment of patients with Cushing's syndrome (CS), but only few retrospective clinical studies are available. The aim of our study was the prospective assessment of metyrapone as pre-operative treatment.
Design And Methods: Before adrenalectomy, 7 patients with ACTH-independent CS due to adrenal adenoma were prospectively treated with metyrapone for 3 months in 3 tertiary academic centers, with endocrine work-up and clinical evaluation at screening and at predefined evaluation time points (Day 14, 31, 48, 65, 82).
