Importance: The current standard-of-care salvage therapy in relapsed/refractory classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) includes consolidation high-dose chemotherapy (HDCT)/autologous stem cell transplant (aSCT).

Left bundle branch block (LBBB) causes immediate electrical and mechanical dyssynchrony of the left ventricle (LV) and gradual structural damages in the Purkinje cells and myocardium. Mechanical dyssynchrony reduces the LV ejection fraction (EF) instantly, but only to ≈55% in an otherwise normal heart. Because of the heart's in-built functional redundancy, a patient with LBBB does not always notice the heart's reduced efficiency straightaway.

The state-of-the-art approach to open reduction and fixation (ORIF) of zygoma fracture fragments is based on manual skills. Achieving high accuracy can be challenging. Our feasibility study on deceased body donors with artificial zygomatic fractures investigated whether virtual repositioning of the fractures and the use of customised 3D-printed titanium osteosynthesis plates was similar in accuracy to the conventional manual procedure, and whether the method was applicable in a clinical setting.

The trafficking dynamics of uromodulin (UMOD), the most abundant protein in human urine, play a critical role in the pathogenesis of kidney disease. Monoallelic mutations in the UMOD gene cause autosomal dominant tubulointerstitial kidney disease (ADTKD-UMOD), an incurable genetic disorder that leads to kidney failure.
