Purpose Of Review: Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL) poses challenges both in diagnosis and prognosis. The purpose of this review is to address the role of profiling immune and non-immune cells in the tumor microenvironment (TME) as it provides information for better diagnosis, prognosis, biomarker discovery, and personalized treatment strategies.

Recent Findings: Recent evidence suggests that the progression of CTCL is closely linked to the Tumor Microenvironment (TME) which comprises various cell types including immune cells, stromal cells, blood vessels, and the extracellular matrix.

Transcriptome-wide analyses delineate the genetic architecture of expression variation in atopic dermatitis.

Genome-wide association studies (GWASs) for atopic dermatitis (AD) have uncovered 81 risk loci in European participants, however translating these findings into functional and therapeutic insights remains challenging. We conducted a transcriptome-wide association study (TWAS) in AD leveraging cis-eQTL data from sun exposed (n=517), non-sun exposed skin (n=602) and whole blood (n=670) tissues and the latest GWAS of AD in Europeans (n=864982). We implemented the OTTERS pipeline that combines polygenic risk score (PRS) techniques accommodating diverse assumptions in the architecture of gene regulation.

Introduction: Results from randomized controlled trials of upadacitinib, a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor, have led to its approval for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) in patients aged ≥ 12 years. The aim of this study was to report the effectiveness and safety of upadacitinib in real-world settings over a period of 96 weeks.

Methods: This retrospective study included all patients treated with upadacitinib at our centre between April 2022 and September 2024.

Skin Cancer Knowledge, Sun Exposure, Photoprotection Behavior, and Perceived Barriers Associated with Skin Cancer Types in a Greek Cohort: A Cross-Sectional Study on the Island of Crete.

Backgorund: This study aimed to explore the relationship between different types of skin cancer and factors such as sun exposure and photoprotection measures in a Greek cohort on the island of Crete.

Methods: This cross-sectional observational study was conducted in the Dermatology Department of the University Hospital in Heraklion, Crete, between January 2019 and January 2024. The study population included consecutive patients diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and malignant melanoma (MM), as well as healthy controls.

European consensus-based interdisciplinary guideline for melanoma. Part 2: Treatment - Update 2024.

A unique collaboration of multi-disciplinary experts from the European Association of Dermato-Oncology (EADO), the European Dermatology Forum (EDF), and the European Organization of Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) was formed to make recommendations on cutaneous melanoma diagnosis and treatment, based on systematic literature reviews and the experts' experience. Cutaneous melanomas are excised with one to two-centimeter safety margins. For a correct stage classification and treatment decision, a sentinel lymph node biopsy shall be offered in patients with tumor thickness ≥ 1.

European S2k guidelines for hidradenitis suppurativa/acne inversa part 2: Treatment.

Introduction: This second part of the S2k guidelines is an update of the 2015 S1 European guidelines.

Objective: These guidelines aim to provide an accepted decision aid for the selection, implementation and assessment of appropriate and sufficient therapy for patients with hidradenitis suppurativa/acne inversa (HS).

Methods: The chapters have been selected after a Delphi procedure among the experts/authors.

Clinical features, treatment options and outcomes in primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas: a real-world, multicenter, retrospective study.

Background: Primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas (PCBCLs) are rare cutaneous neoplasms with limited literature regarding treatment options and associated treatment outcomes. This study aimed to investigate and present real-world treatment outcomes in patients with PCBCLs.

Methods: All patients with PCBCL who were treated in five major referral centers for cutaneous lymphoma in Greece over 10 years were retrospectively included with their baseline characteristics and treatment-associated outcomes collected and analyzed.

Introduction: Melasma is a common acquired disorder of melanogenesis that predominately affects women and presents as hyperpigmented skin lesions mainly located on the face. The study aims to investigate the epidemiologic characteristics and hormonal profiles in melasma patients.

Introduction: Cellulite, also known as edematous fibrosclerotic panniculopathy (EFP), affects up to 90% of women and has a significant aesthetic impact. EFP is a multifactorial condition characterized by local circulatory changes, increased adipose tissue thickness, and a fibrotic response involving thick collagen bundles and septa, driven by local hypoxia. Although numerous treatments exist, their effects are typically temporary.
