We propose and prioritize important outcome domains that should be considered for future research investigating long-term outcomes (LTO) after new onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE). The study was led by the international NORSE Institute LTO Working Group. First, literature describing the LTO of NORSE survivors was identified using a PubMed search and summarized to identify knowledge gaps.

Objectives: The aim of the present study was to analyze the methylation status in patients who presented with an Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC) concomitantly with multifocal Proliferative Verrucous Leukoplakia (PVL)(PVL-OSCC).
Methods: Nine patients with OSCC and concomitant PVL lesions were selected. Two brushing samples were collected simultaneously from OSCC and PVL lesions in contralateral mucosa from each patient.

Objective: The aim of this study was to describe the clinical features of contactin-associated protein-like 2 (CASPR2)-IgG-associated seizures.
Methods: Nine patients were retrospectively collected from two epilepsy centers. For each patient we obtained a full clinical, neurophysiological, and MRI study along with detection of antineuronal autoantibodies from serum and CSF.

Introduction: Endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA) plays a central role in the treatment of GH-secreting pituitary adenomas (PAs)/pituitary neuroendocrine tumors (PitNETs), allowing to treat not only micro- or regular macro- PAs/PitNEts, but also more complex cases, otherwise requiring a transcranial or other open approaches.
Materials And Methods: All consecutive cases of GH-secreting PAs/PitNETs treated by EEA from May 1998 to June 2023 at our Institution were included. Patients clinical, bio-chemical, and neuroradiological features were considered, as well the surgical approach adopted for each case and its related complications.

Head and neck cancers (HNCs) arise from anatomically adjacent sites and subsites, with varying etiological factors, diagnostic strategies, prognoses, and treatment approaches. While conventional squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common histology in the head and neck district, HNCs encompass a variety of rare histopathological entities, categorized into epithelial tumors such as salivary gland cancers, sinonasal tumors, neuroendocrine tumors, malignant odontogenic tumors, and SCC variants versus non-epithelial tumors including soft tissue sarcomas, mucosal melanomas, and hematological malignancies. Rare HNCs (R-HNCs) represent a diagnostic and clinical challenge, requiring histopathological expertise, the availability of peculiar molecular analysis, and the personalization of local and systemic treatments, all guided by a multidisciplinary tumor board.

Introduction: The recovery room (RR) is a hospital area where patients are monitored in the early postoperative period before being transferred to the surgical ward or other specialized units. The utilization of scores in the RR context facilitates the assignment of patients to the appropriate ward and directs necessary monitoring. Some scoring systems allow nurses to select patients who can be discharged directly to their homes.

The endoscopic endonasal route has demonstrated to be the approach of choice for a large majority of clival chordomas (CCs). However, its results in elderly patients are under-evaluated in the literature. The aim of this study is to assess the surgical outcome for these patients, determining the factors associated with a larger tumor resection in this population.

Introduction: Uterine cervical cancer, predominantly caused by HPV, is the fourth most common malignancy in women, rarely leading to Central Nervous System (CNS) metastases with a poor prognosis. This study analyzes 137 cases, focusing on the clinical progression, treatment efficacy, and survival outcomes, highlighting the need for a multi-disciplinary approach to extend patient survival in the face of inconsistent evidence and management practices.
Materials And Methods: This systematic review meticulously adhered to PRISMA guidelines, analysing all existing evidence on CNS metastasis from Uterine Cervical Cancer (UCC) through a comprehensive literature search up to August 2023.

Background: There are few studies investigating patients' needs in healthcare focusing on disease severity and psychological characteristics of elderly heart failure (HF) patients with multimorbidity, specifically addressed by a care manager (CM).
Aims: To explore the role of a CM dealing with elderly multimorbid HF patients' needs/preferences according to NYHA class, ejection fraction, psychological/psychosomatic distress and quality of life (QoL), utilizing a Blended Collaborative Care (BCC) approach (ESCAPE; Grant agreement No 945377).
Methods: Cue cards, self-reported questionnaires, and a semi-structured interview were used to collect data.

Objectives: A deep knowledge of the surgical anatomy of the target area is mandatory for a successful operative procedure. For this purpose, over the years, many teaching and learning methods have been described, from the most ancient cadaveric dissection to the most recent virtual reality, each with their respective pros and cons. Photogrammetry, an emergent technique, allows for the creation of three-dimensional (3D) models and reconstructions.

Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD)-and its worse form, metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), characterised by inflammation and liver damage-corresponds to the liver's involvement in metabolic syndrome, which constitutes an economic burden for healthcare systems. However, the biomolecular pathways that contribute to steatotic liver disease are not completely clear. Abnormalities of bone metabolism are frequent in people affected by metabolic liver disease, with reduced bone density and an increased risk of fracture.

Background: Recently, the PORT-C and LUNG-ART trials, which evaluated the role of postoperative radiation therapy (PORT), have significantly altered the treatment landscape for NSCLC pN2 patients who previously underwent surgery. In response, the Italian Association of Radiotherapy and Oncology Thoracic Oncology study group has initiated an observational multicenter trial to assess both acute and late toxicities of PORT in pN2 NSCLC patients treated with modern techniques.
Methods: Data on NSCLC patients submitted to PORT after radical surgery treated between 2015 and 2020 in six Italian Centers were collected.

Purpose: Andrological pathologies in the adulthood are often the results of conditions that originate during childhood and adolescence and sometimes even during gestation and neonatal period. Unfortunately, the reports in the literature concerning pediatric andrological diseases are scares and mainly concerning single issues. Furthermore, no shared position statement are so far available.

Study Objectives: To define sleep-related movements in healthy adults according to sex and age.
Methods: Sleep-related movements from 50 video-polysomnography (vPSG) recordings of 27 men and 23 women, from 20 to 70 years old, were classified according to International classification of sleep disorders (ICSD-3-TR) and American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) criteria (codified movements); the remaining movements (non-codified movements) were described according to type (elementary movements-EMs or complex movements-CMs), topography (focal, segmental, multifocal or generalized) and, if present, were assigned to motor patterns (MPs).
Results: Of 4057 movements analyzed, 54.

Objective: Drowsiness has been implicated in the modulation of centro-temporal spikes (CTS) in Self-limited epilepsy with Centro-Temporal Spikes (SeLECTS). Here, we explore this relationship and whether fluctuations in wakefulness influence the brain networks involved in CTS generation.
Methods: Functional MRI (fMRI) and electroencephalography (EEG) was simultaneously acquired in 25 SeLECTS.
