Objective: To evaluate the amount and types of physical activity (PA) performed by Greek women during pregnancy and assess the validity and reliability of the Greek version of the Pregnancy Physical Activity Questionnaire (PPAQ).

Schwann cells (SCs) hold key roles in axonal function and maintenance in the peripheral nervous system (PNS) and are a critical component to the regeneration process following trauma. Following PNS trauma, SCs respond to both physical and chemical signals to modify phenotype and assist in the regeneration of damaged axons and extracellular matrix (ECM). There is currently a lack of knowledge regarding the SC response to dynamic, temporal changes in the ECM brought on by swelling and the development of scar tissue as part of the body's wound-healing process.

Background: Total hip arthroplasty (THA) is a highly successful orthopedic procedure increasingly performed on younger, obese patients due to its ability to improve functional outcomes and quality of life. However, obesity presents challenges related to implant selection and long-term outcomes, particularly with the use of short femoral stems. While short stems offer benefits such as bone preservation and reduced stress shielding, their reliability in obese patients remains underreported.

This study compares and investigates the efficacy of 2 different surgical methods for early stage femoral head necrosis and analyze the factors affecting surgical outcomes and long-term femoral head survival. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 48 patients (52 hips) with femoral head necrosis who underwent either the Super-Path or Watson-Jones approach from January 1, 2016, to January 1, 2024. Harris scores at multiple time points before and after surgery were compared using repeated-measures analysis of variance (ANOVA), and a COX proportional hazards model was used to analyze risk factors.
