Background: The use of peripheral intravenous catheters (PIVCs) contributes to healthcare-associated infections. In 2017, we implemented a multifaceted de-implementation strategy that successfully reduced the inappropriate use of catheters in seven hospitals in the Netherlands (RICAT-1 study). Five years later, we investigated the sustainability of this strategy and the contributing factors.

Aim: To explore nurses' perceptions of their role in leading nursing interventions for each domain of intrinsic capacity, based on the Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) framework to enhance care for older adults in acute settings.
Design: A qualitative descriptive design was adopted.
Methods: Conducted in a Singapore acute hospital from August to November 2023, recruited 21 inpatient nurses with at least 2 years of experience through purposive sampling.

Single particle inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (SP-ICP-MS) is a powerful tool for metallic nanoparticle (NP) characterisation in terms of concentration and, taking into account several assumptions, also size. However, this technique faces challenges, such as the intrinsic matrix effect, which significantly impact the results when analysing real complex samples. This issue is critical for the calculations of key SP-ICP-MS parameters ultimately altering the final outcomes.

Background: In light of impending physiotherapy workforce shortages in Australia and updates to career progression pathways for physiotherapists internationally, it is important to understand the beliefs and considerations that underpin decisions to pursue career development opportunities from the perspective of physiotherapists.
Purpose: To investigate physiotherapists' beliefs, motivations and perceived barriers toward career development opportunities, and explore influences which impact the decisions regarding whether and how to undertake career development in physiotherapy.
Methods: Qualitative study using one-on-one semi-structured interviews.

In the realm of perovskite materials, organic molecules situated at the A site play a critical role in stabilizing the structure through specific orientations and weak interactions with the inorganic framework. These polar interactions significantly influence the optoelectronic properties of perovskites, and the introduction of polar molecules can disrupt the inherent polarization, thereby altering the material performance. The research primarily focuses on the relationship between the length and width of these organic cations and their polar inductive effects.
