Abortion has been legally permitted in England and Wales for over fifty years, yet this health service continues to be stigmatised within the health system. Stigma is a dominant focus of abortion research, but a structural stigma framework is rarely used to understand how abortion stigma is produced at a macro-level. Background: People of African and Caribbean heritage in the UK have a higher prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) and poorer health outcomes than white Europeans. Healthy Eating and Active Lifestyles for Diabetes Online (HEAL-D Online) is a co-designed, culturally tailored T2D self-management programme for black African and Caribbean adults, which, due to online delivery, is well positioned for spread. This qualitative evaluation uses the Exploration-Preparation-Implementation-Sustainment (EPIS) framework to explore factors affecting scale-up from delivery and commissioning perspectives.

Background: TikTok, a popular social media platform, is increasingly used for health information dissemination; however, the accuracy and quality of medical content remain uncertain, including in the context of nephrotic syndrome (NS). This study aims to identify prominent patient and caregiver experiences with NS on TikTok and demonstrate how they may vary.
Methods: A convenience sample of TikTok videos containing the hashtag "nephrotic syndrome" posted between July 1, 2020, and February 29, 2024, was analyzed.
