The anodeless battery design has recently gained significant interest by eliminating the direct use of a thick lithium (Li) foil. However, it suffers from inhomogeneous Li flux, resulting in dendrite growth and a short cycling life. To address this, the exfoliation of layered-structure titanium oxide to 2D nanosheets (2DTiO) is proposed to precisely control Li flux at the atomic scale by maximizing Li affinitive Ti sites.

Psychrotolerant sporeformers pose a challenge to maintaining fluid milk quality. Dynamic temperature changes along the supply chain can favor the germination and growth of these bacteria and lead to fluid milk spoilage. Taking our previously reported HIV-1 NNRTIs BH-11c and XJ-10c as lead compounds, series of novel diarypyrimidine derivatives bearing six-membered non-aromatic heterocycles were designed to improve anti-resistance and drug-like profiles.
