We review recent progress regarding the double scaled Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model and other p-local quantum mechanical random Hamiltonians. These models exhibit an expansion using chord diagrams, which can be solved by combinatorial methods. We describe exact results in these models, including their spectrum, correlation functions, and Lyapunov exponent.

Among expanding discoveries of quantum phases in moiré superlattices, correlated insulators stand out as both the most stable and most commonly observed. Despite the central importance of these states in moiré physics, little is known about their underlying nature. Here, we use pump-probe spectroscopy to show distinct time-domain signatures of correlated insulators at fillings of one (ν = -1) and two (ν = -2) holes per moiré unit cell in the angle-aligned WSe/WS system.

Fluorescent carbon quantum dots (CDs) have received widespread attention for their potential applications in optical sensing. Meanwhile, as the importance of mercury ion (Hg) detection in the environment, the exploration of Hg fluorescent nanosensor based on CDs with high quantum yield is particularly intriguing. Herein, nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots (N-CDs) were prepared by microwave method using citric acid as carbon source and urea as nitrogen source, and glycerol as microwave solvent.

Background: Florzolotau (APN-1607) tau-PET has shown distinct patterns of binding in patients with AD and 4-repeat tauopathies. We aimed to establish disease-specific tau covariance patterns in AD and PSP/CBS and validate them as user-independent quantitative biomarkers for reference-region-free evaluation of tau-PET in an independent clinical cohort.
Method: We analyzed Florzolotau PET data from four different cohorts.
