The phase separation of high-density polyethylene (HDPE)-polypropylene (PP) blends was studied using atomic force microscopy in tapping mode to obtain height and phase images. The results are compared with those from scanning electron microscopy imaging and are connected to the thermomechanical properties of the blends, characterised through differential scanning calorimetry, dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), and tensile testing. Pure PP, as well as 10:90 and 20:80 weight ratio HDPE-PP blends, showed a homogeneous morphology, but the 25:75 HDPE-PP blends exhibited a sub-micrometre droplet-matrix structure, and the 50:50 HDPE-PP blends displayed a more complex co-continuous nano/microphase-separated structure.

Self-healing hydrogels can autonomously repair damage, enhancing their performance stability and broadening their applications as soft devices. Although the incorporation of dynamic interactions enhances self-healing capabilities, it simultaneously weakens the hydrogels' strength. External stimuli such as heating, while accelerating the healing process, may also lead to dehydration.

Biomagnetic fluid dynamics (BFD) is an emerging and promising field within fluid mechanics, focusing on the dynamics of bio-fluids like blood in the presence of magnetic fields. This research is crucial in the medical arena for applications such as medication delivery, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prevention of excessive bleeding, and treatment of malignant tumors using magnetic particles. This study delves into the intricacies of blood flow induced by cilia, carrying trihybrid nanoparticles (gold, copper, and titania), within a catheterized arterial annulus under a robust magnetic field.

The molecular interactions between nicotinamide (NA) and two fertilizers, potassium chloride (KCl) and diammonium hydrogen phosphate (DAP), were examined by density () and viscosity () measurements in order to investigate and analyze the solvation behavior that occurs in the ternary solutions (NA + KCl/DAP + water). All of these investigations were conducted at temperatures ranging from 293.

When broods fail, parents may assist neighbours' offspring, a behaviour called redirected helping that is observed in many species. Flatrès and Wild (2024) used inclusive fitness models to study this behaviour. They showed that redirected helping can evolve in viscous populations, where individuals stay near their birthplace, increasing relatedness and competition among neighbours, especially when helping costs are low.
