The semiconductor copper tungstate (CuWO) may end up in aquatic ecosystems since it has the potential for water decontamination. The toxic effects of CuWO are totally unknown for eukaryotic organisms. In view of this, we aimed to evaluate the toxicity of CuWO particles (size of 161.

Perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) with their excellent optical and semiconductor properties have emerged as primary candidates for optoelectronic applications. While extensive research has been conducted on the 3D perovskite phase, the zero-dimensional (0D) form of this promising material in the NC format remains elusive. In this paper, a new synthesis strategy is proposed.

The removal of antimony from wastewater using traditional methods such as adsorption and membrane filtration generates large amounts of antimony-containing hazardous wastes, posing significant environmental threats. This study proposed a new treatment strategy to reductively remove and recover antimony from wastewater using an advanced UV/sulfite reduction process in the form of valuable strategic metalloid antimony (Sb(0)), thus preventing hazardous waste generation. The results indicated that more than 99.

The photocatalytic efficiency of materials such as graphene and noble metal nanoclusters depends on their plasmon lifetimes. Plasmon dephasing and decay in these materials is thought to occur on ultrafast time scales, ranging from a few femtoseconds to hundreds of femtoseconds and longer. Here we focus on understanding the dephasing and decay pathways of excited states in small lithium and silver clusters and in plasmonic states of the π-conjugated molecule anthracene, providing insights that are crucial for interpreting optical properties and photophysics.

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) serve as important signaling molecule, involved in numerous biological processes, particularly in the physiological changes associated with fruit ripening and postharvest handing. This review explores ROS key role in plant fruit ripening and postharvest quality. The mechanism of ROS production and degradation in maintaining ROS homeostasis are analyzed in detail.
