Objective: To compare the prevalence of neurodevelopmental and mental health diagnoses in a national sample of youth with sex chromosome trisomies (SCTs) with matched controls.

Methods: Patients in PEDSnet and a diagnosis code mapping to 47,XXY/Klinefelter syndrome (n = 1171), 47,XYY/Double Y syndrome (n = 243), or 47,XXX/Trisomy X syndrome (n = 262) were matched with controls using propensity scores. Generalized estimating equations computed odds ratios (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI) for the prevalence of diagnoses within the neurodevelopmental and mental health composites, psychotropic medication prescriptions, and encounters with behavioral health and therapy providers.

Intron retention of an adhesion GPCR generates 1TM isoforms required for 7TM-GPCR function.

Rudolf Schönheimer Institute of Biochemistry, Division of General Biochemistry, Medical Faculty, Leipzig University, 04103 Leipzig, Germany. Electronic address:

Adhesion G protein-coupled receptors (aGPCRs) are expressed in all organs and are involved in various mechanobiological processes. They are heavily alternatively spliced, forecasting an extraordinary molecular structural diversity. Here, we uncovered the existence of unconventional single-transmembrane (1TM)-containing ADGRL/Cirl proteins devoid of the conventional GPCR layout (i.

The Env protein of murine leukemia virus (MLV) is the prototype of a large clade of retroviral fusogens, collectively known as gamma-type Envs. Gamma-type Envs are found in retroviruses and endogenous retroviruses (ERVs) representing a broad range of vertebrate hosts. All gamma-type Envs contain a highly conserved stretch of 26-residues in the transmembrane subunit (TM) comprising two motifs, a putative immunosuppressive domain (ISD) and a CXCC motif.

Realizing Long Magnon Diffusion in Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Perovskite Film by the Universal Isotope Effect.

Organic-inorganic halide perovskite (OIHP) spintronics has become a promising research field, as it provides a new precisely manipulable degree of freedom. Recently, by utilizing the spin Seebeck effect and inverse spin-Hall effect measurements, we have discovered substantial magnon injection and transport in Pt/OIHP/YFeO nonlocalized structure. In theory, hyperfine interaction (HFI) is considered to have an important role in the magnon transport of OIHP, but there is no clear experimental evidence reported so far.

Topological insulators (TI) and magnetic topological insulators (MTI) can apply highly efficient spin-orbit torque (SOT) and manipulate the magnetization with their unique topological surface states (TSS) with ultrahigh efficiency. Here, efficient SOT switching of a hard MTI, V-doped (Bi,Sb)Te (VBST), with a large coercive field that can prevent the influence of an external magnetic field, is demonstrated. A giant switched anomalous Hall resistance of 9.
