In this study, we investigated in detail the regulation mechanism of electron transfer under laser-induced breakdown (LIB) on weak O-D stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in DMSO-DO solutions. Significantly, the Raman activity of O-D vibrations was greatly enhanced by two orders of magnitude due to electron transfer in DMSO molecules. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations showed that the O-D Raman activity was significantly enhanced in the DMSO-DO dimer compared to the DO dimer.

Single-molecule fluorescence resonance energy transfer (smFRET) has emerged as a pivotal technique for probing biomolecular dynamics over time at nanometer scales. Quantitative analyses of smFRET time traces remain challenging due to confounding factors such as low signal-to-noise ratios, photophysical effects such as bleaching and blinking, and the complexity of modeling the underlying biomolecular states and kinetics. The dynamic distance information shaping the smFRET trace powerfully uncovers even transient conformational changes in single biomolecules both at or far from equilibrium, relying on trace idealization to identify specific interconverting states.

This study introduces a novel analytical framework for investigating the vibration characteristics of functionally graded carbon nanotube-reinforced composite (FG-CNTRC) elliptical cylindrical shells under arbitrary boundary conditions. Unlike previous studies that focused on simplified geometries or specific boundary conditions, this work combines the least-squares weighted residual method (LSWRM) with an adapted variational principle, addressing high-order vibration errors and ensuring continuity across structural segments. The material properties are modeled using an extended rule of mixtures, capturing the effects of carbon nanotube volume fractions and distribution types on structural dynamics.

Schizophrenia (SCHZ), bipolar disorder (BD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) share clinical symptoms and risk genes, but the shared and distinct neural dynamic mechanisms remain inadequately understood. Degree is a fundamental and important graph measure in network neuroscience, and we here extended the degree to hierarchical levels based on eigenmodes and compared the resting-state brain networks of three disorders and healthy controls (HC). First, compared to HC, SCHZ and BD patients exhibited substantially overlapped abnormalities in brain networks, wherein BD patients displayed more significant alterations.

Partial wave analysis is key to interpretation of the photoionization of atoms and molecules on the attosecond timescale. Here we propose a heterodyne analysis approach, based on the delay-resolved anisotropy parameters to reveal the role played by high-order partial waves during photoionization. This extends the Reconstruction of Attosecond Beating By Interference of Two-photon Transitions technique into the few-photon regime.
