Calculations of the two-loop electron self-energy for the 1S Lamb shift are reported, performed to all orders in the nuclear binding strength parameter Zα (where Z is the nuclear charge number and α is the fine structure constant). Our approach allows calculations to be extended to nuclear charges lower than previously possible and improves the numerical accuracy by more than an order of magnitude. Extrapolation of our all-order results to hydrogen yields a result twice as precise as the previously accepted value [E.

Lipids are indispensable components of living organisms and play pivotal roles in cell-membrane fluidity, energy provision, and neurotransmitter transmission and transport. Lipids can act as potential biomarkers of diseases given their abilities to indicate cell-growth status. The decomposition of ozone on supported manganese oxide catalysts, studied here, exemplifies reactions involving electron transfer. In situ extended X-ray absorption fine-structure spectra (Mn K-edge) on in situ treated samples show that the supported phase in MnO/SiO resembles MnO while that in MnO/AlO samples resembles MnO. In situ Raman spectroscopy shows the involvement of a common peroxide surface species.

Dual single-atom catalysts have attracted considerable research interest due to their higher metal atom loading and more flexible active sites compared to single-atom catalysts (SACs). We pioneered the one-step synthesis of sheets copper-cobalt graphitic carbon nitride dual single-atom (S-Cu/Co-g-C3N4) using folding fan-shaped aluminum foil as a template, and used them as catalysts in the epoxidation of styrene respectively. Through XAFS(X-ray Absorption Fine Structure) and other characterizations, it is found that Cu and Co single atoms are stabilized separately on g-C3N4 via coordination with nitrogen (N), hindered the ordered growth of sheets, and formed more pore structures, which not only increased more catalytically active sites, but also effectively prevented the flakes re-aggregate during the catalytic process.
