Photo-stimulated Polymers have garnered significant attention for their potential applications ranging from optical memory to sensing. Herein, by changing coordination metal and the position of nitrogen atom in pyridine-based photo-stimulated ligand, we successfully synthesised a novel photo-stimulated copper-based MOF (Cu-MOF) using 9,10-bis(di(pyridine-3-yl)methylene)-9,10-dihydroanthracene as the photo-stimulated ligand. Structural analysis revealed a 3D porous architecture, offering a distinct advantage over previously reported 1D coordination polymer using similar photo-stimulated ligand.

The aim of this study was to compare the effects of glycation and ultra-high pressure (UHP) treatment on the structure and IgG immunobinding activity of Salangidae icefish PV. The Circular Dichroism (CD) and Fluorescence Spectroscopy (FS) findings indicated that the glycation significantly affected both the secondary and tertiary structures of PV. However, the impact of UHP processing on the structure of PV was found to be less significant compared to the glycation.

Abnormal epigenetic reprogramming of nuclear-transferred (NT) embryos leads to the limited efficiency of producing cloned animals. Trichostatin A (TSA), a histone deacetylase inhibitor, improves NT embryo development, but its role in histone acetylation in porcine embryos cloned with mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) is not fully understood. This study aimed to compare the effects of TSA on embryo development, histone acetylation patterns, and key epigenetic-related genes between in vitro fertilization (IVF), NT-MSC, and 40 nM TSA-treated NT-MSC (T-NT-MSC).

The immunohistochemical (IHC) or fluorescence/chromogenic in situ hybridization (FISH/CISH) assays for assessing HER2 are now recommended by the American Society of Clinical Oncologists and the College of American Pathologists, but there are an increasing number of published studies describing alternative diagnoses at the molecular level. Inspired by these studies, we established a laboratory-developed test (LDT) to analyze status not only at the gene expression level but also at the gene copy number. A precise copy number calculation was fulfilled including the Control Genomic DNA of known concentration, which allowed subsequent assay validation at the DNA level.

Poly(2-oxazoline) (POx), a typical thermoresponsive polymer with good biocompatibility, was conjugated with environment-sensitive tetraphenylenethene (TPE) and hydroxyphenylbenzoxazole (HBO) to achieve unique thermometer readings. Through phase transition induced by temperature, the thermometers can measure temperature in biologic range with ratiometric fluorescence response, ultrahigh sensitivity and good reversibility. Moreover, the thermometer can be used to measure the change in temperature with large fluorescence difference in living cells.
