Reactor-emitted electron antineutrinos can be detected via the inverse beta decay reaction, which produces a characteristic signal: a two-fold coincidence between a prompt positron event and a delayed neutron capture event within a specific time frame. While liquid scintillators are widely used for detecting neutrinos reacting with matter, detection is difficult because of the low interaction of neutrinos. In particular, it is important to distinguish between neutron (n) and gamma (γ) signals.

This paper presents the application of Kolmogorov-Sinai (EK-S) metric entropy calculations performed on experimental data sets (relative elongations ε) recorded during static tensile testing of a composite material with carbonisate. The EK-S calculation method makes it possible to represent the dynamics of strain change occurring during the endurance test. The depiction of the change in the dynamics of elongation compared to the course of the tensile curve makes it possible to analyse the strength properties of the tested specimens.

Ligand engineering has proven to be an effective strategy for tuning and controlling the microenvironment of coordinated metal centers, highlighting the critical bridge between the activity and structural features of catalysts during electrocatalytic CO reduction reactions (eCORR). However, the limited availability of diverse organic ligands has hindered the development of novel high-performing electrocatalysts. In contrast, small organic molecules have been widely used in the fabrication of metal complexes due to their well-defined functionalities, low cost, and easy accessibility.

Investigations have been limited to anatomy, electrophysiology, and protein localization-while crucial parameters such as synaptic vesicle dynamics were not visualized. Here we utilize zap-and-freeze time-resolved electron microscopy to overcome this hurdle.

Direct electrochemical detection of miRNA biomarkers in tumor tissue interstitial fluid (TIF) holds great promise for adjuvant therapy for tumors in the perioperative period, yet is limited by background interference and weak signal. Herein, a wash-free and separation-free miRNA biosensor based on photoexcited electro-driven reactive oxygen channeling analysis (LEOCA) is developed to solve the high-fidelity detection in physiological samples. In the presence of miRNA, nanoacceptors (ultrasmall-size polydopamine, uPDA) are responsively assembled on the surface of nanodonors (zirconium metal-organic framework, ZrMOF) to form core-satellite aggregates.
