Background: Epsilon waves, rarely observed in clinical practice, result from late potentials favoring the development of ventricular rhythm disorders by reentry.
Case Report: A 53-year-old man with sequellar myocardial infarction experienced a syncope. The surface ECG recorded an epsilon wave. Programmed ventricular stimulation before and after anti-arrhythmia drugs triggered ventricular tachycardia which was hemodynamically poorly tolerated. A defibrillator was implanted and confirmed retrospectively the rhythmic origin of the syncope.
Discussion: The association of an epsilon wave and syncope should guide the etiology search towards severe ventricular rhythm disorders such as ventricular tachycardia. An electophysiologic study is required in order to determine the appropriate therapy and thus help avoid possibly fatal recurrence.

A substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) bandpass filter (BPF) with extraordinary selectivity and an adequate upper stopband for C-band Satellite Communication (SATCOM) applications is proposed in this paper. The design comprises comb-shaped slots engraved on a half-mode SIW (HMSIW) that constitute a multimode resonator (MMR). Its performance is further ameliorated by applying the first and second iterations of the Minkowski fractal curve in the ground plane as a defected ground structure (DGS).

To address this issue, this study presents an innovative multilayer structure using Ge, Cu, and ZnSe materials to achieve triple-band infrared camouflage, visible camouflage, and radiative cooling. The structure exhibits low emissivity in the short-wave infrared (SWIR, 1.

This paper presented the design and performance analysis of a high-gain balanced antipodal Vivaldi antenna (BAVA) integrated with a parasitic patch and a half-spherical shaped dielectric lens, specifically designed for microwave and millimeter-wave applications. Constructed with a Teflon substrate ( = 2.1, tan = 0.
