While implanting a cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) can enhance prognosis, complications and costs limit its widespread use. Background: An open wedge high tibial osteotomy (OWHTO) may lead to gait alteration, which change the contact loading in the contralateral knee, while clear evidence about the impact on contralateral knee still lacks. The purpose of the current study was to evaluate the change in scintigraphic uptake using SPECT-CT in the medial compartment of the contralateral knee following OWHTO.
Methods: Contralateral radiographic measurements were performed for patients with medial osteoarthritis and varus malalignment of >5° treated with OWHTO in this retrospective analysis.
Postoperative Ga-DOTATATE positron emission tomography has a low yield in incidental appendiceal neuroendocrine tumours.

Introduction: Rarely, appendiceal neuroendocrine tumours (NET) are an incidental finding when an appendicectomy is undertaken for suspected appendicitis. The role of further imaging in this setting is poorly defined. Positron emission tomography (PET) using Ga-DOTATATE is requested to evaluate post-surgical status, however, there is little evidence to guide how it should be employed.

Background: Transthyretin (ATTR) amyloidosis is more prevalent than initially thought. As much as 13% of patients hospitalized with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction may have ATTR-cardiomyopathy (CM). Conversely, heart transplant patients may manifest left ventricular hypertrophy or diastolic dysfunction, especially late after transplantation.
