We report a case of agenesis of the dorsal pancreas, complicated by pancreatitis and diabetes mellitus. A 39-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a chronic pancreatitis. Abdominal spiral CT and ERP and MRCP demonstrated agenesis of the dorsal pancreas. The pathogenesis, clinical features and diagnosis of this very rarely reported disease are discussed.

We present a pioneering case of a duplication of the common bile duct associated with agenesis of the dorsal pancreas in a 66-year-old man. After an episode of cholestatic jaundice, radiological investigations revealed complex vascular and biliary anomalies, redefining the therapeutic strategy. Instead of risky surgery, endoscopic biliopancreatic drainage resolved the symptoms.

This study aimed to evaluate changes in functional brain activity patterns during the early stages of HIV infection by comparing local and global indicators using resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI).
Methods: A total of 165 people living with HIV (PLWH) but without neurocognitive disorders (PWND), 173 patients with asymptomatic neurocognitive impairment (ANI), and 100 matched healthy controls (HCs) were included in the study.
