Background: Examples of group B red cells that react weakly or not at all with anti-B have been described. Subgroups of B such as B, B, B, and B are rare and are less frequently reported. We studied the frequency of subgroups of B in our healthy blood donor population and serologically characterized and differentiated these subgroups.

Introduction: Weak D red cells were defined as having a reduced amount of D antigen (formerly called "Du") that required an indirect antiglobulin test (IAT) for detection. Weakly reacting D is those which give <2+ reactions on routine methods. The present study is sharing our experience on weak D and weakly positive anti-D in various methods.

Objective: To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection among voluntary blood donors and provide a foundation for improving the donor recruitment strategies and developing a more scientific and effective HIV screening strategy.
Methods: HIV testing data from voluntary blood donors in Nanchang, collected from January 2021 to February 2024, were analyzed. According to the serologic and nucleic acid sequence detection mode, two different reagents were used for ELISA detection and NAT detection.

Objectives: To describe the efficacy of anifrolumab vs. placebo in Japanese systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients with low complement (C3 or C4) and/or who are positive for anti-double stranded DNA (anti-dsDNA) antibodies.
Methods: This was a descriptive post hoc analysis of Japanese SLE patients with serological manifestations in the TULIP-2 trial who received either anifrolumab or placebo.
