This report describes two cases that developed moderate ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) without evidence of haemoconcentration. Both patients developed serious cerebrovascular thrombosis resulting in hemiparesis, and recovered after treatment with anticoagulants. This report emphasizes that other factors may contribute to vascular thrombosis, and illustrates that cerebrovascular accidents may complicate even moderate OHSS.

Objective: To assess whether premenopausal women diagnosed with deep or ovarian endometriosis on transvaginal sonography (TVS) were more likely to suffer from dyspareunia and pelvic pain symptoms, and have a lower quality of life, compared to women without sonographically diagnosed deep or ovarian endometriosis.
Methods: This was a prospective, cross-sectional study carried out between February 2019 and October 2020 at the general gynecology clinic at University College London Hospital, London, UK. All premenopausal women aged 18-50 years, who were examined consecutively by a single experienced examiner and underwent a detailed TVS scan, were eligible for inclusion.

Background: Premenopausal risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy (RRSO) in women at high familial risk of ovarian cancer leads to immediate menopause. Although early natural menopause is associated with increased cardiovascular disease risk, evidence on long-term cardiovascular disease risk after early surgical menopause is scarce.
Objectives: We sought to determine the long-term influence of the timing of RRSO on the development of coronary artery calcium (CAC), an established marker for cardiovascular disease risk.

Introduction: Exosomes play an important role in regulating physiological processes and mediating the systemic dissemination of various types of cancer. We investigated the association of exosomal tetraspanins CD9, CD63, and CD81 in patients with ovarian cancer (OC).
Material And Methods: We measured the plasma tetraspanins CD9, CD63, and CD81 by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in 91 patients who underwent treatment for OC between April 2018 and March 2024.

Background: Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) may impact ovarian folliculogenesis and steroidogenesis, but whether prenatal exposure may impact offspring reproductive health is unknown. This study examines the extent to which maternal PFAS plasma concentrations during pregnancy are associated with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and related characteristics in female offspring.
Methods: We studied 322 mother-daughter pairs in Project Viva, a Boston-area longitudinal pre-birth cohort enrolled 1999-2002.

Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) is poorly understood, with causes identified in only 25% of cases. Emerging evidence suggests links between trace elements (TEs) and POI. This study is the first to compare concentrations of manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), selenium (Se), molybdenum (Mo), arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), and lead (Pb) across urine, serum, and whole blood in women with POI compared to healthy controls (HC), aiming to explore their distribution and potential associations with POI.
