Introduction: High-frequency laser therapy has been increasingly used in several musculoskeletal disorders, but there is still a lack of evidence for the usage of the device in neck pain. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of physiotherapy, high-frequency laser, and exercise therapy methods in the treatment of pain in cervical disk herniation.
Methods: It was a multicenter, randomized, controlled clinical trial.

Introduction: Commonly, cervicogenic headache (CGH) pathology originates from the upper cervical nerve ranging from C1-C3, with C2-C3 most frequently involved. The pathophysiology and etiology of this syndrome have been the subject of ongoing controversy in the past decade. Most literature regarding CGH, mainly research about relationship between upper cranial nerves (C1-C3) indicating that the possibility it originates from other cervical levels is poorly understood.

Two medium-sized, 7-year-old dogs, with no previous history of pain, presented with acute neurologic symptoms consistent with intervertebral disk disease. Both cases had CT, where cervical pathology was identified. In one dog, the diagnosis was singular extensive cervical disk herniation with possible epidural hemorrhage and in the other, the diagnosis was multiple-site cervical disk herniation.

Spinal cord injury is a condition affecting the central nervous system, causing different levels of dysfunction below the point of nerve damage. A 50-year-old woman suffered a neck injury as a result of a car accident. After undergoing posterior cervical C3-C6 internal fixation with titanium plates on one side and C7 lamina decompression, the patient, who had been diagnosed with C3-C7 cervical disk herniation and spinal stenosis causing persistent compression of the spinal cord, was transferred to the rehabilitation department.

Introduction: Patients with a prolonged preoperative symptom duration (PSD) in the setting of cervical disk herniation (DH) may suffer inferior outcomes after surgical intervention. Comparison between anterior cervical diskectomy and fusion (ACDF) versus cervical disk arthroplasty (CDA) in this at-risk population has not yet been conducted.
Methods: Patients undergoing ACDF or CDA for DH with a PSD > 180 days were selected.
