Purpose: We assessed the value of transrectal sonography (TRUS) in the diagnosis of vaginal abnormalities.

Methods: Six women between 16 and 77 years old underwent TRUS with a biplanar probe equipped with 5-MHz axial sector and longitudinal linear transducers. Sagittal and axial images of the bladder, vagina, and urethra were obtained. Sonographic findings were compared with those from surgery.

Results: TRUS showed hematocolpos in 3 patients and cysts in 3 patients. Surgery confirmed the findings. Pathologic examination revealed 2 Gartner's cysts and 1 vaginal inclusion cyst.

Conclusions: TRUS represents a valid diagnostic tool for the assessment of vaginal abnormalities because it accurately visualizes lesions and clearly shows anatomic relationships.

The anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is a granulosa cell-derived hormone that has been associated with female fertility and reflects the population of growing follicles. This study aimed to evaluate the average concentration of AMH in Lipizzaner mares, as well as to determine the relationship between AMH concentration and follicle number and size. We also investigated the relationship between the age of mares and their AMH levels.

Background: Current approach to clinically suspicious biopsy-naïve men consists performing prostate MRI, followed by combined systematic (TRUS-Bx) and MRI-Ultrasound fusion biopsy (MRI-TBx) in those with PIRADS score ≥ 3. Researchers have attempted to determine who benefits from each biopsy method, but the results do not support the safe use of one method alone. This study aims to determine the optimal approach in biopsy-naïve men, according to their PSA levels.

In this study, we aimed to utilize a retrospective clinical study to evaluate the diagnostic value of bone metastases from PCa and provide reference values for future applications.

Methods: We retrospectively collected a total of 200 samples including 100 PCa patients with bone metastatic and 100 without from June 2019 to August 2021.
