Introduction: DNA methylation inhibitors have been approved for the prevention of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), and their safety profile is not fully characterized. This study was aimed at evaluating the adverse drug reactions (ADRs) of DNA methylation inhibitors by analyzing the individual case safety reports (ICSRs) collected in the EudraVigilance (EV) database.

Materials And Methods: The EV database managed by the European Medicines Agency was adopted.

In this study, a thermostable β-galactosidase from OSU-PECh-4A has been isolated through diafiltration and size-exclusion chromatography. The enzyme consists of a heterodimer with a molecular mass of 110 kDa, with a small and large subunit of 36 and 74 kDa, respectively. The Michaelis constant (K) and maximum velocity (V) values for lactose and -nitrophenyl-β-d-galactopyranoside (NPG) hydrolysis were, respectively, 29.

The anatomical and cytological characteristics of the mucilage-secretory system have been widely studied in Malvaceae. However, conflicting information regarding the morphological nature of secretory structures exists, and some remain poorly understood. In this sense, some secretory structures in Malvaceae are not characterized as typical isolated idioblasts, canals, or cavities.
