Theoretical and practical problems related to the dosimetric data verification for recovery workers at the Chernobyl NPP are considered. The distinctions in definitions epsilon-entropy in paper [1] and delta-entropy in [2] are considered. In a certain measure this distinctions explain distinction in conclusions, made in these papers. Method of dosimetric data collection, used by Institute of Biophysics and its difference from the method of data acquisition, used in national Medical-dosimetric registers is described. Results on determination of a share of participants given for various clean-up worker divisions, contained in pointed delta-shape peaks, received by two various methods, stated in [2] and [6], are compared and their satisfactory conformity with one another is established.

Purpose: To evaluate the impact of patient setup errors on the dosimetry and radiobiological models of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) for esophageal cancer.
Methods And Materials: This retrospective study with 56 patients in thermoplastic mask (TM) and vacuum bag (VB) groups utilized real setup-error (RSE) data from cone-beam CT scans to generate simulated setup-error (SSE) data following a normal distribution. The SSE data were applied to simulate all treatment fractions per patient by shifting the plan isocenter and recalculating the dose.

Purpose: We aimed to build a machine learning-based model to predict radiation-induced optic neuropathy in patients who had treated head and neck cancers with radiotherapy.
Materials And Methods: To measure radiation-induced optic neuropathy, the visual evoked potential values were obtained in both case and control groups and compared. Radiomics features were extracted from the area segmented which included the right and left optic nerves and chiasm.

Background: This retrospective study addresses the role of operator and fluoroscopy equipment in reducing patient radiation exposure in the Cath lab.
Methods: Data from 99,400 procedures performed in our institution between 2007 and 2019 were reviewed. Dosimetric parameters included reference point air kerma (K), Kerma Area Product (P), fluoroscopic time, and contrast volume.

Purpose: Recent deep-learning based synthetic computed tomography (sCT) generation using magnetic resonance (MR) images have shown promising results. However, generating sCT for the abdominal region poses challenges due to the patient motion, including respiration and peristalsis. To address these challenges, this study investigated an unsupervised learning approach using a transformer-based cycle-GAN with structure-preserving loss for abdominal cancer patients.

For men with localized prostate cancer, radiotherapy (RT) remains a common therapeutic option. Although radiotherapy has had significant success, it remains an intractable issue in promoting radiation damage to tumor tissue while reducing adverse effects on healthy tissue. Chemicals or pharmacological substances known as radiosensitizers can increase the killing effect on tumor cells by accelerating DNA damage and indirectly producing free radicals.
