Sera of 40 normal nonimmunized rabbits were eprouved by immunoperoxidase on cultural human cells. Four sera contain centrosphere-reactive antibodies and for the strongest serum the centrospheres were still stained with the 1/600 dilution. This last serum visualized the centrospheres within the height human cell lines eprouved, whatever the phase of the mitotic cycle. The staining was not inhibited after serum absorption by tubulin.

Granular cell tumors (GCTs) are relatively rare, whereas malignant GCTs are extremely rare. This brief report describes a cytological case of metastatic malignant GCT in the lymph node with immunocytochemical analysis. A 77 years old Japanese female with a history of surgical resection for malignant GCT in the back 8 years earlier presented with swelling of the right neck.

The presence of cystic lymph nodes in the neck can present a challenging differential diagnosis, with considerations often including metastatic papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC), cystic squamous cell carcinoma, and congenital cysts. The cytologic overlap between benign Müllerian inclusions and PTC features adds complexity, especially in unusual locations. A 45-year-old woman with a history of ovarian serous borderline tumor (SBT) and non-invasive Müllerian implants presented with cystic lymphadenopathy in the neck.

The Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas is known to have an exceptional ability to accumulate zinc, which endows it with robust resistance to pathogens and makes it an excellent source of dietary zinc. ZIP1 has been identified as an important zinc uptake protein in other species, but its role in oysters remains unclear. In the present study, a ZIP1 homologue (CgZIP1-II) of the Zrt/Irt-like protein (ZIP) family was identified in C.

d-Limonene is the predominant component of essential oil from Exocarpium Citri Grandis, known for its antibacterial, antioxidant, insecticidal, and anti-inflammatory properties. The synthesis, transport, and accumulation of d-limonene in Citrus grandis 'Tomentosa' fruits are regulated by limonene synthase (LS) and its associated regulatory genes. This study addresses the gap in understanding the spatiotemporal cytological changes of LS and its regulatory genes.

The innervation of the antennal heart of the cockroach Periplaneta americana was studied with immunocytochemical techniques on both the light and electron microscopic levels. The antennal heart is innervated by two efferent systems, both using one biogenic amine in combination with neuropeptides. In one, we found co-localization of serotonin with proctolin and allatostatin.
