The content of calcium and phosphorus is decreased and that of fluorine increased in the oral fluid of children whose diet includes fluorinated salt, and the levels of calcium and phosphorus in their dental enamel are increased in comparison with children using common table salt. Three-year consumption of fluorinated salt resulted in a decrease of calcium release and increase of phosphorus release into acid biopsy.
