Background: Intussusception is a frequent diagnosis during the first year of life. However, it is an uncommon and very rare pathology in neonates and premature infants.
Case Reports: Two full term neonates presented an antenatal intussusception associated with fetal ascites; another premature infant developed an intussusception at the age of 15 days. In the three cases the diagnosis of intussusception had only been established during the laparotomy. A recent review of the literature revealed 13 cases of antenatal intussusception, one of these being associated with fetal ascites.
Conclusion: The differential diagnosis of fetal ascites should always include intussusception. Early recognition of this pathology and prompt surgical action would avoid fatalities.

Complications of twin pregnancy such as twin anemia-polycythemia sequence (TAPS), which involve placental anastomotic vessels, occur mostly in monochorionic diamniotic twins and they have rarely been reported in dichorionic diamniotic (DD) twins. Here, we report a case of DD twins diagnosed with TAPS with fetal hydrops caused by fetal anemia at 28 weeks, which resolved spontaneously during pregnancy. A 37-year-old pregnant woman was referred to our hospital because of a twin pregnancy at 13 weeks.

Objective: The aim of the current study was to reveal ultrasonographic and clinical features, prenatal-postnatal outcomes and prognostic risk factors of fetal volvulus.
Method: This retrospective study evaluated all cases of fetal volvulus diagnosed between 2018 and 2024 at the Perinatology center of Zeynep Kamil Women and Children Diseases Training and Research Hospital. In the vast majority of cases, the pediatric surgery team confirmed the conclusive diagnosis of volvulus during the postnatal period.

Meconium peritonitis (MP) as a cause of non-immune hydrops in neonates is rarely reported. We present a case of a 35-week gestational-age male neonate diagnosed with hydrops secondary to MP. Antenatal scan at 34 weeks and five days revealed features of fetal hydrops, and the prenatal workup did not reveal the etiology.

During fetal life the right valve of the sinus venosus directs oxygenated blood from the inferior vena cava to the left atrium through the foramen ovale, until the regression of the right valve which usually occurs within the 15th week of pregnancy. Incomplete regression of the right venous valve in varying degrees can lead to different types of remnants such as the Eustachian valve, the Chiari Network and Cor Triatriatum Dexter. Prenatal diagnosis of remnants of right venous valve has only rarely been reported in the literature.
