Objectives: Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration/biopsy (EUS-FNA/B) is the gold standard for diagnosing gastric subepithelial lesions (SELs), but diagnosing lesions smaller than 20 mm remains challenging. We developed traction-assisted EUS-FNB (TA-EUS-FNB) using the clip-with-thread method to enhance diagnostic accuracy by stabilizing the lesion and providing counter-traction for easier needle access. This study evaluates the effectiveness of TA-EUS-FNB in diagnosing small gastric SELs.

To investigate the combined application of cytology, cell block histology and immunohistochemistry to improve the diagnostic accuracy of solid pancreatic lesions in endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) samples. The pathological data of EUS-FNA in 311 cases of solid pancreatic lesions submitted to the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University, Shijiazhuang, China from May 2019 to September 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The cases included pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC, 172 cases), solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPN, 12 cases), neuroendocrine tumors (PNET, 14 cases) and chronic pancreatitis (113 cases).

Introduction: The duodeno-pancreatic region is a highly vascularized area. The superior and posterior pancreaticoduodenal artery is a vessel primarily originating from the gastroduodenal artery. It exhibits rare anatomical variations, such as its emergence from the right branch of the hepatic artery, which we fortuitously identified during a cadaver dissection.

Introduction: Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPN) is a rare pancreatic tumor typically occurring in young females. This case presents an instance of SPN in a 54-year-old Caucasian female, highlighting atypical age of onset and providing new insights into the tumor's clinical and histopathological diversity.
Case Report: A 54-year-old female with no significant past medical history presented with upper abdominal discomfort and weakness.
