Malignant hyperthermia (MH) is a potentially fatal disorder triggered by volatile anesthetics or succinylcholine, inducing a hypermetabolic crisis in susceptible patients. The caffeine-halothane contracture test (CHCT) remains a gold standard for MH detection.
