Chikungunya fever is an arboviral illness caused by chikungunya virus (CHIKV) and transmitted by the bite of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. It is an RNA virus belonging to the genus Alphavirus and family Togaviridae. We present a case series of three patients with chikungunya illness developing para/post-infectious myeloradiculoneuropathy.

Introduction: Guillain-Barré syndrome associated with Coronavirus-2-related severe acute respiratory syndrome (COV-GBS) occurs as para- or post-infectious forms, depending on the timing of disease onset. In these two forms, we aimed to compare the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and serum proinflammatory cytokine profiles to evaluate differences that could possibly have co-pathogenic relevance.
Materials And Methods: We studied a retrospective cohort of 26 patients with either post-COV-GBS (n = 15), with disease onset occurring > 7 days after SARS-CoV-2 infection, or para-COV-GBS (n = 11), with disease onset 7 days or less.

Opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome (OMS) is a rare immune-mediated paraneoplastic or para/-post-infectious syndrome characterized by "dancing" eye movements, myoclonus, and ataxia. Neuropsychiatric symptoms have also been reported. Without treatment, OMS may progress to further neurological impairment and even death.

Among the plethora of debilitating neurological disorders of COVID-19 syndrome in survivors, the scope of SARS-CoV-2-induced dysautonomia (DNS) is yet to be understood, though the implications are enormous. Herein, we present an inclusive mini-review of SARS-CoV-2-induced DNS and its associated complications. Although, the direct link between Covid-19 and DSN is still speculative, the hypothetical links are thought to be either a direct neuronal injury of the autonomic pathway or a para/post-infectious immune-induced mechanism.

Objective: To systematically describe central (CNS) and peripheral (PNS) nervous system complications in hospitalized COVID-19 patients.
Methods: We conducted a prospective, consecutive, observational study of adult patients from a tertiary referral center with confirmed COVID-19. All patients were screened daily for neurological and neuropsychiatric symptoms during admission and discharge.
