Persistent and recurrent primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) represent significant challenges in the management of PHPT. Persistent PHPT is defined as persistence of hypercalcemia following parathyroidectomy (PTX) or the recurrence of hypercalcemia within the first 6 months following surgery. Recurrent PHPT is defined as recurrence of hypercalcemia after 6 months following PTX and requires normalization of serum calcium prior to the recurrence.

Unlabelled: Cavernous hemangiomas are venous malformations characterized by interconnected channels of abnormally dilated blood vessels having low flow of blood. Whilst venous malformations most commonly affect the head and neck region, isolated cavernous hemangiomas of the palatine tonsils are extremely rare; with only 4 cases being reported in the English Literature. We report a case of a 43-year-old female who was referred to us for the evaluation and management of a right tonsillar swelling.

Nodular goitre caused by thyroid hyperplasia is a benign condition arising from abnormalities in thyroid gland physiology, resulting from an imbalance between thyroid-stimulating hormone, thyrotropin-releasing hormone, and the follicular epithelium of the thyroid gland. The histopathological characteristics of this hyperplasia can resemble well-differentiated follicular carcinoma of the thyroid. Here, we present the case of a 66-year-old man with clinicopathological features suggestive of follicular carcinoma with extrathyroidal extension.

This study was conducted to describe the videonystagmography findings in dizziness patients with background anxiety disorders. It was a hospital-based, descriptive analytical study, conducted among 64 adult patients with diagnosed anxiety disorders presenting with complaint of dizziness attending the vertigo clinic run by the Department of ENT at St. John's Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore, over a period of 24 months.

Objective: To further understand spatial relationships of common carotid arteries to adjacent structures through evaluation of computed tomographic angiograms in dogs.
Animals: 24 pet dogs.
Procedure: A database was searched for triplanar computed tomographic angiograms that included the heart base caudally and the 5th cervical vertebra cranially, without macroscopic abnormalities.
