Background: Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is a rare malignant tumor that accounts for <1 % of head and neck malignancies, with an estimated involvement of the tongue at approximately 3 %.
Case Presentation: This report presents a case of a 42-year-old male with no significant history of tobacco or alcohol use, who developed a painless, progressively enlarging mass on the ventral surface of his tongue over the course of eight months. Initial surgical resection confirmed the diagnosis of ACC, which necessitated a right hemiglossectomy followed by radiotherapy to address potential residual disease.

Herein, we report a case of successful management of severe upper airway obstruction caused by angioedema, where intubation was achieved using a dual-function video laryngoscope and bronchoscope system in the emergency department for a patient with severe upper airway stenosis due to angioedema. Background: Chronic lingual tonsillitis (CLT) entails persistent inflammation of the lingual tonsils (LT), presenting in recurrent infections, throat discomfort, dyspnea, dysphagia, and LT hypertrophy.
Methods: A retrospective observational study at a nonacademic general hospital described outcomes of CLT patients undergoing base of tongue (BOT) reduction via transoral robotic surgery (TORS). Primary outcomes were changes in patient-reported quality of swallowing and life and were assessed at baseline, 3, 6, and 12 months post-TORS.

Introduction: Nemaline myopathy (NM), also known as Nemalinosis, is a rare congenital muscle disease with an incidence of 1 in 50000. It is characterized by nemaline rods in muscle fibers, leading to muscle weakness. We reported a case of NM revealed by cardiac involvement, and we highlighted the challenges in diagnosing this condition as well as its poor prognosis.
