Tyramine, β-phenylethylamine, octopamine and other trace amines are endogenous substances recently recognized as important novel neurotransmitters in the brain. Trace amines act via multiple selective trace amine-associated receptors (TAARs) of the G protein-coupled receptor family. TAARs are expressed in various brain regions and modulate neurotransmission, neuronal excitability, adult neurogenesis, cognition, mood, locomotor activity and olfaction.

Background: The World Health Organization has identified Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) as a priority disease for research and development in emergency contexts. The epidemiology of CCHF is evolving and this review highlights travel-associated cases and focuses on the need for a One Health approach in Europe.

Methods: For this narrative review, two searches were performed in PubMed and Google Scholar for the period 1980-October 2024.

Amenorrhea is a common symptom of a whole range of nosologies among women of reproductive age, which can accompany any endocrinopathy in the stage of decompensation. In all the diversity of various links in the pathogenesis of reproductive disorders, the problem of immunopathology remains a little aside, however, the significance of these disorders is underestimated. This publication provides an overview of immune system abnormalities in a women with amenorrhea.
