Eating disorders (EDs) are a group of debilitating mental illnesses characterized by maladaptive eating behaviors and severe cognitive-emotional dysfunction, directly affecting 1-3% of the population. Background: People with kidney failure have a high risk of cardiovascular morbidity/death, including thromboembolic events. Factor XIa inhibitors are a new class of anticoagulants in development that may offer antithrombotic benefits with a lower risk of incremental bleeding events than traditional therapies. We investigated major adverse vascular events (MAVEs), a relevant composite outcome for testing novel antithrombotic agents, in a large cohort of patients on hemodialysis, to better understand the key requirements to adequately design a phase 3 trial.

Background: Despite the growing application of the Dual-factor model of mental health (DFM), there is a paucity of research on military personnel. Additionally, existing cross-sectional studies indicate that resilience and perceived social support are associated with military mental health, but the lack of cross-lagged studies precludes researchers from making causal interpretations. This study aimed to explore the longitudinal relationship between resilience, perceived social support, negative dimension of mental health (depressive symptom), and positive dimension (life satisfaction) among military personnel using cross-lagged analysis.
