Background: Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) is a rare, immune-mediated inflammatory disorder of the central nervous system (CNS), typically characterized by the acute onset of multifocal demyelination. The pathogenesis of ADEM remains unclear, but it is believed to be triggered by an autoimmune response, often following viral infections or vaccinations.
Case Report: This case report describes a 3-year-old child who developed ADEM after receiving two concurrent influenza vaccines: one for seasonal influenza and one for the 2009 H1N1 pandemic.

Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) caused by pathogenic immunoglobulin G antibodies to myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein is a rare demyelinating disease of the central nerve system (CNS). The clinical phenotypes of MOGAD include acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, optic neuritis, and transverse myelitis. At present, the mechanism underlying the disease is unknown.

Objectives: Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) is the main driver of amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIAs) in Alzheimer disease (AD). We compared different versions of the Boston criteria for CAA diagnosis in AD.
Methods: This article presents a single-center analysis (outpatient neurodegenerative clinic) of patients with AD with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early dementia, meeting NIA-AA criteria and having biological amyloid confirmation (CSF or imaging).

Coccidioidal meningitis is a rare yet life-threatening complication of disseminated infection, primarily affecting immunocompromised individuals. and are dimorphic fungi endemic to the southwestern United States, where exposure to inhaled spores can lead to a range of clinical manifestations, including pulmonary and central nervous system (CNS) involvement. This report describes the case of a 27-year-old correctional officer with advanced human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection who presented with chronic headaches, altered mental status, and significant weight loss following his relocation from Arizona to Louisiana.

Unlabelled: Tuberculosis (TB) can affect any organ, and at times more than one organ in any sequence, in which case it is referred to as disseminated tuberculosis (DTB). We report a patient who presented primarily for psychiatric symptoms of three months' duration, which later turned out to be a case of DTB involving the central nervous system as well as the spine and lungs.
