[Analysis of prescriptions for mass-produced drugs from various pharmacotherapeutic groups. Diuretics].

The present paper links up with the studies carried out at the Department of Organization and Management of Pharmacy within the framework of a grant. It analyzes prescription of diuretics, the characteristics of identification being age and sex. Also the frequency of occurrence of diseases and the individual diagnoses according to the International Statistical Classification, 10th revision, were examined. The authors analyzed the assortment structure of the diuretics prescribed (number of medical prescriptions, number of packages) and examined which mass-produced preparations from other pharmacotherapeutic groups were prescribed in combination with diuretics. The analysis was made in a pharmacy of the Region of East Slovakia-City in the year 1995. The source of information were the medical prescriptions issued in the selected pharmacy.
