Study Objective: Extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (eCPR) is a rescue therapy for selected patients when conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) fails. Current evidence suggests that the success of eCPR depends on well-structured in- and out-of-hospital protocols. Methods: Medical records of 878 patients who underwent SWL were retrospectively reviewed. Patients with isolated unilateral 6-10 mm radiopaque upper ureteral stones above the upper border of the sacroiliac joint were included in the study.
