The authors report the implantation of two wallstents in a patient by use of the transradial artery approach. This approach for coronary wallstent implantation allows for intensive anticoagulation therapy with less risk of bleeding.

Background: Venous sinus stenting (VSS) is a promising treatment option for medically refractory idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH). There are no published studies comparing the performance of different types of stents employed in VSS procedures. In this study we aimed to compare the safety and efficacy outcomes of the Zilver 518 (Cook Medical, Bloomington, Indiana, USA) and the Carotid Wallstent (Boston Scientific, Marlborough, Massachusetts, USA) devices.

Objective: The Wallstent (WS; Boston Scientific, Malborough, MA) is currently the standard of care for comparisons of clinical efficacy for new stent devices in the treatment of iliac vein outflow disease. Many vein-specific Nitinol-based stents have been now approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use in the iliofemoral venous system. However, few comparisons of these devices to the current standard have been reported.

Iatrogenic iliac arteriovenous fistula (IAVF) is an extremely rare complication after lumbar discectomy surgery (LDS), with potentially life-threatening consequences. An IAVF results from the close anatomic relation between the iliac vessels and the last lumbar vertebrae and the corresponding discs. We report the case of a 45-year-old woman who developed a large right IAVF 3 years after L4-L5-S1 laminectomy.

Objectives: To evaluate the in vivo feasibility of aortography with one accurately timed diastolic low-volume contrast injection for quantitative assessment of aortic regurgitation (AR) post transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
Background: With the rise of a minimalistic approach for TAVR, aortography (re)emerges as a pragmatic tool for AR assessment. In a mock circulation system, we have validated the accuracy of a single diastolic injection triggered by electrocardiogram (ECG) with low-contrast volume.

Purpose: To evaluate the outcomes of carotid artery stenting (CAS) with Wallstents in a single-center experience.
Methods: From January 2003 to December 2013, 1000 carotid artery lesions were treated with Carotid Wallstents under cerebral protection in 877 patients (mean age 71.7 ± 8 years; 621 men).
