Educ Psychol Meas

January 2025

Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, KU Leuven, Campus KULAK, Kortrijk, Belgium.

Multidimensional Item Response Theory (MIRT) is applied routinely in developing educational and psychological assessment tools, for instance, for exploring multidimensional structures of items using exploratory MIRT. A critical decision in exploratory MIRT analyses is the number of factors to retain. The reliable engraftment of skin grafts into areas with complex shapes can be challenging. Here, we report a case of successful fixation of a genital skin graft using negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) with RENASYS Cotton Filler. A 44-year-old male with no relevant medical history underwent split-thickness skin grafting for a genital skin defect caused by Fournier's gangrene.

Socio-ecological sustainability arises from interactions between natural and social systems. Sustainability in water security means effectively managing water resources to continuously achieve social goals without surpassing ecological limits to maintain or enhance ecological integrity and social well-being. Despite efforts to measure sustainability focused on water security, challenges remain, such as selecting indicators that capture socio-ecological dynamics and defining appropriate aggregation methods.
