Background And Objective: Cancer is one of the most difficult diseases facing modern medicine, and increasing amounts of research and clinical treatments are being applied to the treatment of cancer. Immunotherapy, particularly immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy, has revolutionized the treatment and overall survival of patients with several different types of cancer. Approximately one-third of patients treated with ICIs may experience immune-related adverse events (irAEs).

A homozygous individual for ITGB7 gene mutation, an autosomal recessive congenital disorder in Holstein cattle, was retrospectively identified by genotyping of 195 stored blood from patients less than 12 months of age. Other 24 patients (12.3%) showed heterozygous.

Porcine teschovirus (PTV) is a devastating virus that targets the central nervous system and led to great economic losses in Europe between the 1920s and 1960s. Since 1973, PTV variants with lower pathogenicity have been prevalent globally, whereas highly pathogenic PTV strains have rarely emerged. In 2022, diarrhea with high mortality occurred on a pig farm in Gansu China.
