Objective: The arginase inhibitor INCB001158 was evaluated for safety (primary endpoint) in locally advanced or metastatic solid tumours; pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and efficacy were also assessed.
Methods And Analysis: In this non-randomised, open-label, three-part phase 1 study, INCB001158 was orally administered two times per day as monotherapy or in combination with intravenous pembrolizumab 200 mg every 3 weeks. Dose expansion was conducted in tumour-type cohorts (with or without prior anti-PD-1/PD-L1 (programmed death protein 1/programmed death ligand 1) therapy).

Objective: This study was conducted to assess the perspectives of pediatric endocrinologists in Türkiye on the management of congenital hypothyroidism (CH) and to analyze the potential impact of work environment and professional experience on different attitudes.
Methods: The members of the Turkish Society for Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes were invited to participate in an online survey. An evaluation was made by obtaining survey responses from 95 (19%) of 502 members.

Background And Research Question: While patient safety during general anesthesia has improved in recent years, incidents still occur in anesthesia, particularly in the area of airway management and ventilation. In addition to a mandatory daily system test before using a ventilator, a QUICK check is recommended by the German Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI) before connecting a patient; however, misconnections of breathing tubes are still possible and not necessarily detected by the device self-test. The aim of the present study was to analyze user behavior at modern anesthesia workstations regarding the verification and functionality of the QUICK check.

However, despite the potential to improve the quality of care and thereby positively impact patient-relevant outcomes, the majority of AI-based CDSS have not been adopted in standard care. Chronic subdural haematoma (cSDH) is a common subtype of traumatic brain injury, typically affecting older people living with frailty and multimorbidity. Until now, no published guideline has existed internationally to guide management, perhaps explaining why the care of the older cSDH patient varies between neurosurgical centres. The Improving Care in Elderly Neurosurgery Initiative guideline is the first guideline dedicated to the care of patients with cSDH across the entire patient pathway, from initial presentation through to rehabilitation and discharge after surgery.
