Evidence-based treatment of chronic pain requires a multidisciplinary approach grounded in the biopsychosocial model. Implementing this approach within health systems relies on its acceptance by both healthcare providers and patients. While pioneering multidisciplinary pain clinics can serve as a model for implementation, a systematic effort is needed to share knowledge effectively and broadly.

The aim of this study was to assess the effect of nutrition education and counseling using health belief health model constructs along with iron-folic acid supplementation on hemoglobin level and adherence to IFAs during pregnancy. The study was a three-month quasi-experimental study design in Butajira town, Ethiopia. Community-based nutrition education and counseling sessions using the Health belief model, and IFAS for six weeks were given to the pregnant women.

This letter discusses the research conducted by Abdel-Razeq , highlighting a significant association between () infection and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) in individuals with a prior history of infection. Using a comprehensive patient database, the study establishes an independent correlation between and an elevated risk of MASH, even after adjusting for coexisting conditions such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and dyslipidemia. Notably, the findings suggest that may worsen liver pathology through inflammatory pathways, contributing to hepatic insulin resistance and lipid accumulation.

This letter discusses the recent study by Mukherjee , which identifies a significant prevalence of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) among newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients in Bihar, India, and underscores the pressing need for integrated MASLD management within T2DM care. With 72.3% of the study cohort affected by MASLD, implementing routine liver function tests and ultrasound screenings is recommended as a standard practice in diabetes care, especially in regions with high prevalence rates.
