Objective: To study the integrity of EPI vaccine storage during interruptions to the power supply.
Setting: Health centres in Colombo District.
Method: An interviewer-administered questionnaire was used to collect information on staff compliance with regulations of the expanded program of immunisation (EPI) and alternative facilities available for refrigeration during power failure. The refrigerator and storage conditions were inspected. The stored vaccines were tagged with thermosensitive cold chain monitors, which were read on revisiting the clinic 14 days later. During the study period, power cuts of 2 hours' duration were in force daily. A control study was carried out when there was no interruption to power supply.
Results: Diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus (DPT) and measles vaccines had been exposed to temperatures outside the prescribed range during power cuts. Oral polio vaccine had adequate storage with power cuts of 2 hours' duration.
Conclusion: Alternative facilities for vaccine storage during power cuts were not available and the potency of DPT and measles vaccines were compromised with interruptions to power of 2 hours' duration or more.

Cosmological correlators encode invaluable information about the wave function of the primordial Universe. In this Letter we present a duality between correlators and wave function coefficients that is valid to all orders in the loop expansion and manifests itself as a Z_{4} symmetry. To demonstrate the power of the duality, we derive a correlator-to-correlator factorization formula for the parity-odd part of cosmological correlators that relates n-point observables to lower-point ones via a series of diagrammatic cuts.

Background: Previously, we conducted a retrospective study of American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) data that examined the 2-year odds of revision between robotic-assisted and nonrobotic-assisted TKA, and we found no benefit to robotic assistance. However, proponents of robotic assistance have suggested that robot platforms confer more accurate bone cuts and precise implant sizing that might promote osteointegration of cementless implants by limiting micromotion at the bone-implant interface that could lead to aseptic loosening. Therefore, it seems important specifically to evaluate the odds of revision among patients with cementless implants only within our previous study population.

Background: Substance abuse is a global problem that cuts across all sectors of society and requires innovative solutions that go beyond conventional treatments. Contact with nature could be a complementary tool to address drug-related problems. This review aimed to assess the impact of natural environments on drug-related outcomes.

Introduction: Rising healthcare costs have led to decreasing reimbursements for various procedures and providers. We chose to analyze Medicare reimbursement trends for 26 esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and 31 colonoscopy current procedural terminology (CPT) codes from 2018 to 2023 for hospital outpatient centers, ambulatory surgical centers (ASC), and gastroenterologists. We also wanted to look at the effects of inflation on these Medicare reimbursements.
