Purpose Of Review: Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is a highly heterogeneous condition with a wide choice of successful treatment options. However, differences between subtypes are poorly understood and it remains unknown which patients will respond to different treatments. This review aims to summarize the current state of the TN field and explore the problem of predicting surgical outcomes.

A 61-year-old male patient without prior history of ophthalmologic problems presented with pain and redness in the left eye associated with slowly progressive proptosis over the previous 6 months. The patient also had diplopia in rightward and downward gaze. There was no vision loss.

Machine learning (ML) has shown great potential in the adaptive immune receptor repertoire (AIRR) field. However, there is a lack of large-scale ground-truth experimental AIRR data suitable for AIRR-ML-based disease diagnostics and therapeutics discovery. Simulated ground-truth AIRR data are required to complement the development and benchmarking of robust and interpretable AIRR-ML methods where experimental data is currently inaccessible or insufficient.

Background: Malaria is a major public health problem in the Central African Republic (CAR). Data on malaria epidemiology are often derived from confirmed cases of symptomatic malaria using passive detection approaches, with very limited knowledge of the extent of subclinical and submicroscopic infections.
Methods: A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted in Bangui, the capital of the CAR, to assess the prevalence of subclinical malaria parasitaemia.
