This study reviewed 56 hips in 37 children with cerebral palsy who had undergone an adductor tenotomy alone or in combination with an anterior obturator neurectomy. The mean review period was 5.3 years. At latest review, 25 of 30 (83%) hips with a preoperative migration percentage of less than 40% were reduced, but 20 of 26 (77%) hips with a preoperative migration percentage of 40% or more were subluxated or dislocated. Surgery was unsuccessful for 13 of 15 hips with an acetabular index of more than 27 degrees. Percutaneous adductor tenotomy alone was as effective as the combination of an open procedure with an anterior obturator neurectomy. The age at the time of surgery did not have a significant effect on the outcome. The preoperative migration percentage was the only significant predictor of outcome in this group of children.

: The tumour inflammatory microenvironment (TIME) reflects a selective activation of the central immune system (IS), particularly T-cells expansion, which leads to immune cells migrating to the target, such as lung cancer, via the bloodstream and lymphatic vessels. In this study, the aim is to investigate whether the distribution of peripheral blood cells varies based on the immune status of patients with lung adenocarcinoma. : This is a single-center retrospective study conducted in the Thoracic Surgery Unit of the University of Padua (Italy) between 1 January 2016 and 1 April 2024.

Study Design: Matched case-control study.
Purpose: To evaluate the midterm outcomes of unilateral pedicle screw fixation (UPSF) versus bilateral pedicle screw fixation (BPSF) in transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) procedure, ascertain efficacy of UPSF in adequately decompressing contralateral foramen+spinal canal and reducing rate of adjacent segment degeneration (ASD) at 4-8-year follow-up (FU).
Overview Of Literature: Previous meta-analyses found no significant differences between UPSF and BPSF regarding fusion rates, clinical and radiological outcomes; however, few studies have reported higher rates of cage migration/subsidence and pseudoarthrosis in the UPSF.

This case report evaluates current diagnostic and treatment approaches for intrapelvic acetabular migration, focusing on the rare but serious complication of acute limb ischemia following hip arthroplasty. A 67-year-old female with a history of total hip arthroplasty 10 years ago presented with acute limb ischemia after experiencing a traumatic event 72 hours prior, which had caused displacement of her hip prosthesis. Notably, she had a history of a traumatic event two years earlier for which she had been advised to undergo surgical correction, which she had refused.

Objectives: In the ninth edition of the TNM classification of lung cancer, N2 is subdivided into single-station (N2a) and multiple-station involvement (N2b), and some stage changes are made to stage II-III. This study aimed to validate the new classification and determine the effect of stage migration and vice versa on the prognosis of each pathological stage due to these changes.
Materials And Methods: A total of 1,754 patients with surgically resected lung cancer were included.
